As all Gumballing fans probably know by now, this year's Gumball 3000 event also serves as its 10th anniversary. As such, multiple surprises and and exciting perks have been infused in the already intensely popular affair. Among these exciting additions is the participation of supercars made famous by the globetrotting rally, including Gumball founder Maximillion Cooper's Jaguar XJ220, a bio-fuel powered Trident Iceni, an Ascari A10 GT3 race car and a very special Porsche 997 GT2.
Countless celebrities are also expected to join the Gumball fray, including larger than life poker star Darus Suharto. For the uninitiated Suharto burst to the poker scene after qualifying to the World Series of Poker Main Event via a PokerStars satellite tournament. The underdog mantel made Suharto a crowd favorite and it's the same never say die spirit that defines the Gumball event, hence his participation. Here are the details of Gumball 3000 2008.
